Joaquin J. Lopez graduated from St. John’s University with a B.A. in 1998. He attended Brooklyn Law School’s Evening Division, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 2002.
While attending law school, Joaquin worked as a teacher for the New York City Board of Education for two years. He also interned with the New York State Attorney General’s office, Investor Protection and Securities Bureau and assisted in the litigation of landlord/tenant cases in the private sector.
Joaquin joined the firm of Baker & Barshay, LLP as an associate, shortly after the firm’s inception, and has been with the firm for over six years. While with the firm, he has handled all aspects of No-Fault litigation and assisted in the presentation of seminars for prospective clients. He has also successfully tried hundreds of cases. Presently, Joaquin works as a trial attorney with Baker, Sanders, Barshay, Grossman, Fass, Muhlstock & Neuwirth, P.C., overseeing the firm’s caseload in New York County.
